About Me
Hi! My name is Tony. I'm a honours Software Engineering student at University of Waterloo and am seeking opportunities for 2026 New Grad roles.
Currently I'm a Research Engineer Contractor at Google DeepMind. I'm also doing research under CompLING Lab and Vector Institute, working on grounded language learning using computer vision.
Previously, I was MLE Intern at Cresta creating guardrails against adversarial attacks and building autonomous AI Agent benchmarking / evaluation. I was also at NorwAI Research Center/NTNU as an AI Researcher Intern evaluating the performance of LLMs and hallucinations with RLHF and AMR graphs.
I am also Engineering Ambassador & Rise-up Mentor at UWaterloo, and Varsity Athlete of UWaterloo Varsity Fencing Team.
When I'm not coding, you can find me performing magic, playing chess or fencing on the piste. 🤺
